Welcoming the West African Delegation for Exchange and Learning

Last week, we welcomed a delegation of pig and poultry farming clients from West Africa for a full day of exchange and learning. From in-depth discussions in the meeting room to hands-on visits in our showroom, this was more than a simple tour—it was a meaningful exchange of ideas, perspectives, and practical experience.
We began by introducing BIHLMANN’s development journey, core technologies, and key product lines. The delegation expressed strong interest in our achievements in agricultural automation. Both sides engaged in deep discussions on industry trends, equipment deployment experience, and potential future cooperation.
The delegation then visited the BIHLMANN showroom, where our team demonstrated several of our flagship smart farming solutions.
1. Smart Pig Weighing Passage
The Smart Mobile Pig Weighing Passage is truly a “game changer” for farm management. As pigs walk through the passage, the system automatically captures their weight. Paired with RFID ear-tag sensors, identification happens instantly, and all data is uploaded to the cloud in real time. It can also generate growth curves to support feeding strategy adjustments. With a dynamic weighing accuracy of up to 98.0%, the system requires no manual herding, reducing animal stress while improving efficiency and scientific management.
2. Automated Sorting System
The Automated Sorting System helps solve management challenges in large-scale pig farming. The delegation gathered around the equipment, closely examining its design while our technical team explained the underlying logic of RFID identification + multi-sensor integration.
Later, in the meeting room, we played a live demonstration: pigs passing through the roller channel in an orderly manner, real-time weight readings displayed instantly, and automatic sorting into designated pens.
Seeing this, the delegation leader’s eyes lit up— “This system perfectly matches the needs of our production stages!”
3. AI Egg Counting System
The AI Egg Counter provides real-time tracking and highly accurate counting powered by AI vision technology, achieving 99.9% accuracy. Egg production data is uploaded to the management platform, where daily and weekly reports are generated automatically. The system also supports multi-dimensional analytics, such as row-based output and abnormal fluctuation alerts.
This cross-continental exchange broadened our perspectives and deepened our commitment to open collaboration and shared success. Looking ahead, we look forward to working with more international partners and bringing the intelligence and strength of Chinese innovation to farms around the world.
